More than a year of production culminated in MissingNo. I didn’t set to make an album, I just kept making and releasing original tracks until I got these twelve.
Rosso is the new name of my Stoopid bootleg. The remix was so different from the original Buraka Som Sistema track that I turned it into an original.
This track is almost 7 years old. Started it in 2009 but in all this time never got around to finish it.
Continuing with the Tribal groove, Dune follows Savanna. Loved writing this one, specially the bongos.
My melodic reggaeton track. For a change this did not start as a bootleg but I did use elements from Complicated and Spring, like the vocal glide as the hook on the drop.
Going back to the Tribal roots, this track is a combination between modern afro house and classic tribal africanism sound. Marimbas and deep vocals help create a heavy and intense atmosphere that contrasts with the fast passed beat.
My second track as Mewttu. Spring also started as a bootleg, this time for Buraka Som Sistema’s Stoopid.
My new track Matik is out now. Dub and Extended Mix available.
New project. Quite different from Gil Perez. This is the first track and I thought I would tell you a bit of its history.
Remember last year when I asked you to make something with an incomplete track I uploaded to Soundcloud? Amine Ben, Drum Soul and Alex Lyng took the challenge and their submissions caught my attention.
